About Cynergy Cycling Club

The mission of Cynergy Cycling is to create a fun, safe and supportive environment for cyclists; to advocate on our sport’s behalf and to collaborate with our communities to foster an equitable road environment.

Cynergy is a road cycling club that represents riders from the South Jersey area. Our name is based on Synergy (noun: the interaction of elements that when combined produce a total effect that is greater than the sum of the individual elements, contributions, etc)

We fulfill our mission through:

Group team-style rides that are led by trained and knowledgeable ride leaders, that observe road etiquette and that cooperate with motorists
Training cyclists of all experience levels and ages to understand and practice safe cycling technique
Advocating to the non-cycling community on behalf of cyclist rights to access roads equitably and safely

Cynergy believes that the acceptance of the sport of cycling in a congested suburban environment depends chiefly on our ability to establish a collaborative relationship with our communities and to adopt a cooperative approach to our road presence.

We believe that our focus on safety and team style riding is the most direct way to create an enjoyable, exciting and fulfilling experience for our riders. We invite you to come out and try out a group ride with us. We are a friendly bunch, but we do have a few simple guidelines and a document to help you understand what group ride would be the best 'fit' to get started.

There is also a link for the liability waiver form you will need to read, sign and bring to the ride, in order to participate.
